Gallbladder Symptoms
Many digestive problems share the same symptoms as those felt when there is a presence of gallstones. Digestive complications like indigestion are a quite common occurrence for most individuals on western type diets. Normal indigestion often occurs after the person consumes certain foods or after the person consumes too much food at one time.
The conundrum happens when we realize that gallbladder problems are also frequently reported to involve indigestion. The difference is the indigestion associated with these problems does not respond to the ordinary treatments of antacids. The pains that the majority of people feel when they have a gallbladder attack are frequently reported to be pains like the ones you feel when you have excessive gas.
Another difference is that normal gas pains are usually relieved when you change positions or when you pass gas. If the pain is associated with gallbladder problems, neither changing positions nor passing gas will alleviate the symptom.
Individuals normally feel the bloating after eating a very large meal. But in the case of gallstone- associated symptoms, boating can ensue even after the consumption of small meals. Go here for more information on typical gallbladder symptoms
Why Do Gallbladder Attacks Occur
When the stone is large enough to block the opening of the gallbladder, it causes painful episodes or attacks, because it either presses against tissues in the gallbladder, or because the gallstone has become obstructive and the flow of bile impeded.
For most people the only alternative to rid themselves of the gallbladder symptoms is surgery to remove the entire organ. But the reason why gallstones almost always result in surgical intervention is not because it is the only alternative, but because almost always they visit medical professionals that specialize in surgery and they will almost always suggest surgery. Most of the time though fear is prime motivating factor in the decision to have their gallbladder removed.

Cancer And Porcelain Gallbladder: Rare Conditions
It is true that sometimes surgery may be the only available choice such as when someone has developed very toxic conditions that lead to the development of cancer or to what is referred to as porcelain gallbladder. Cancer and porcelain gallbladder are both very rare but the medical professionals more than often believe that surgery is a requirement necessary to eradicate the condition. Surgery is also often suggested when a person has developed a secondary infection that may pose a threat to other organs and systems.
A better means of dealing with these conditions is via a non surgical means such as the one found here.
